What was abeds halloween costume

Did she make it? Budget-wise, it shows a decent amount of dedication from one of the show's poorest characters. But a dinosaur isn't the most unique idea in the world, and the whole costume is pre-made. It's also inconvenient, as Jeff has to help her eat and drink for the entirety of the non-zombie-outbreak portion of the Halloween party. Now this is closer to the Dean Pelton we know and love.

He even announces his presence with a classic play on words, shouting "Trick or Dean! That fact makes this a solidly middle-of-the-countdown entry. Poor Shirley. She really goes the extra mile for this costume, which is most likely Harry Potter, by gamely attempting a British accent. Nevertheless, her red cardigan, glasses, and lack of truly distinguishing features mean she gets mistaken for beloved sitcom rascal Steve Urkel multiple times in "Introduction to Statistics.

Nostalgia is a strange and oddly cyclical thing. Still, it's not actually something you see all the time these days outside conventions, anyway , which makes it an unintentionally original choice.

That, plus a semi-convincing wig equal a decently middling position in the countdown. Too bad Pierce only gets to enjoy the Halloween party for a short while before he gets zombified by military surplus "taco meat. In "Paranormal Parentage," Britta once again goes with a full-body mascot costume by dressing up as a leg of ham.

It's a bit more unique than most food costumes, and, knowing Britta, likely a reference to the ham costume Scout wears in "To Kill A Mockingbird. Regardless, it's a decent effort, and, as a costume that's likely a literary allusion, a little bit pretentious in classic Britta style. Though he turns out to have lied on his resume, Ben Chang is, at times, an oddly committed Spanish professor.

This is never more true than in "Introduction to Statistics," when he sports an impressively ornate matador costume, complete with a drawn-on mustache. He even goes the extra mile to tamp down Annie's slightly too-intense Dia de los Muertos energy by loudly yelling, "You don't have to do that! A relevant costume, executed with subtlety and panache — this is a rare look for a character who usually starts off the rails, then gets even crazier.

She also goes the extra mile, in true Annie fashion, by sporting pigtails, ribbons, and a basket. It doesn't save her from the zombies, of course, but it places her just outside the top 10 on our countdown. Alas, poor Shirley. In "Epidemiology," she attempts to prove she's learned from her vague Harry Potter costume by going all-out on a look combining a pink dress, tiara, and wand.

She tells everyone she's dressed as a beloved figure from childhood, but that doesn't actually narrow things down that much. Unfortunately, Shirley's lilting, high-pitched voice makes everyone decide she's dressed as Miss Piggy from "The Muppet Show.

But her effort and attention to detail are both top-notch, which means many viewers along with Chang, surprisingly naturally recognize her as Glinda the Good Witch from "The Wizard of Oz.

Pierce's one-of-a-kind Beastmaster costume, from the cult classic "The Beastmaster," easily earns a spot on our top The comedy series premiered last night with an episode that was originally slated to air in mid-October, which probably explains why next week's episode, titled "Paranormal Parentage" has everyone dressed in costumes.

Check out the spoiler photos ahead and try to figure out who's who! It sounds like this is going a Pierce-focused episode, which is a good thing, considering last night's premiere saw Chevy Chase's character sidelined with a pile of balls in his hands. Here's the official description for "Paranormal Parentage," which has the gang headed to a Halloween party but then detoured.

As Pierce languishes behind locked doors, the group searches the dark and eerie house for the book that holds the code to the door. Something wicked this way comes. They reach the fenced off section in front of the window and barricade it. Seeing that the window is too high and knowing the zombies will break through soon, Abed offers Troy a boost.

He is reluctant to accept but Abed tells him he is willing to sacrifice himself for Troy's survival. With Abed's help, Troy reaches the window but is forced to watch as the zombie students overtake Abed.

Troy goes to the library entrance, punches Dean Pelton and takes the keys to the door. He puts on his original costume for protection and enters but the zombie students easily dismantle his suit. Slipping away from them, he makes his way to the thermostat. Along the way, he comes across the infected study group members. He manages to make his way past them but pauses when he runs into Abed who bites him. The others join in but Troy shrugs them off, reaches the thermostat and manages to turn down the temperature before becoming a zombie.

As the air conditioning kicks in the students inside slowly regain their senses. Outside, the army finally arrives and upon seeing the students are cured they knock everyone out with gas. Some time later, police officers led by Officer Cackowski are at the library along with the E. The Dean tells Cackowski he, like the rest of the partygoers, has no recollection of the night's events.

It seems that a cover story was created explaining that everyone had been roofied. Troy and Abed decide to leave and go watch a movie agreeing to avoid any film that contains zombies in it.

Troy and Abed survey the aftermath of the Halloween party. Troy gets a voice message from Chang that claims he and Shirley just had sex. Troy wonders why he called him out of everybody else. Troy receives Chang's voice message. Narrative Recurring or debuting plot points in this episode: Previously : Britta's Campus Connect profile as well as the Season One episode " Pascal's Triangle Revisited " reveal that she had a traumatic childhood experience with a man in a dinosaur costume. In this episode she wears a T.

Pierce informs them he hasn't been trapped long but can't remember the code that opens the door. The Study Group arrives in costume to rescue Pierce from his mansion's panic room. He tells them they need to find a red notebook he misplaced which contains the code. Pierce then admits the reason he is in the panic room is because he thought he saw the ghost of his dead father.

Jeff resignedly joins the study group when they decide to stay to help Pierce. After splitting up to cover more ground, Jeff and Britta discover Pierce's bedroom. Britta starts to get upset when Jeff begins mocking a photo of Pierce dead father.

She suggests that Pierce may be haunted not by an actual ghost but by unresolved daddy issues he had. Jeff then starts to rant against Cornelius Hawthorne which turns into a rant about his own father.

He then clams up when he realizes that Britta set him up so he could open up about his own problems. Jeff and Britta find Pierce's room. Over in the mansion's library, Annie and Abed are carefully searching the room for the notebook.

Annie gets distracted when she discovers a chapter entitled "Pierce Hawthorne's ideas for ladies". As she reads it, Abed examines a nearby bookshelf containing various Norwegian troll dolls. He pulls one and the shelf spins sideways to reveal a secret chamber. Annie realizes that this isn't the notebook they are looking for and then notices that Abed has disappeared.

Uneasy being alone, she hesitatingly walks out into the hallway to find him. She gets spooked when she looks into the hallway mirror and sees what appears to be Cornelius Hawthorne standing behind her. Meanwhile, Troy and Shirley are trying to find the library.

Troy points out a private room that Pierce refused to let him go into. Abed finds a secret room while Annie is distracted by Pierce's journal. Shirley enters in believing it's the library but it turns out to be Pierce's special playroom.

Shirley quickly ushers Troy outside and tells him to forget about what was in there and also that she knew what it was. They then notice the rattling of a doorknob at the end of the hallway. Troy opens up the door and finds Annie on the other side. Annie tells them she lost Abed and the three resolve to find him.

Unbeknownst to them, Abed made his way to the mansions security room and has been watching "Cougar Town" on TV while also keeping an eye in the group's activities. He turns his attention to the surveillance camera in Pierce's bedroom and watches Britta and Jeff.

Still being pressured by Britta about confronting his daddy issues, Jeff reveals he has his dad's phone number for three weeks now and hasn't had the slightest urge to call him. He never let me use it because he thinks I'm a child. Abed switches his attention to old surveillance footage of Pierce's bedroom.
