Why does windex leaves streaks

Mix one cup of distilled vinegar with one cup of hot water in a spray bottle, then swirl to mix. The warm water will help to remove stuck-on gunk. Spray the window glass with your natural cleaner and let it set for a minute. For extremely dirty windows, you may find it beneficial to prewash to remove as much as possible before using the vinegar spray. Otherwise, you may have to repeat Step 2 to remove all of the dirt.
