What will happen between klaus and caroline

As a fan, I didn't want to dishonor Stefan by having Klaus become Caroline's one true love. I certainly love the idea that, in time, you can learn to love someone new even after you've lost someone. Caroline's got her own stuff to deal with; she's got daughters who need her and a school she's running.

She's got her own life. She'll be OK. Klaus impacted her in really profound ways, but I think she's going to be OK. So there was hope for Caroline and Klaus' romantic future! Julie Plec's answer to TV Line mentions a lot of what could have happened. Of course, fans will never know for sure. There is potential for a silver lining to the doom and gloom of The Originals ' finale for Caroline and Klaus, though.

Thanks to a universe that allows for multiple lives via doppelgangers, there is always potential for a Klaus look-a-like to sweep Caroline offer her feet in the future. So, while Klaus' death is most assuredly the nail in the "Klaroline" coffin, it could theoretically not be the last chance for the actors to explore the screen chemistry that helped fans enjoy the characters' dynamic.

As for life after Klaus, Caroline has no shortage of things to occupy her, as Julie Plec points out. The finality of Klaus and Elijah's deaths in The Originals ' series finale was quite impactful, and its domino effect will undoubtedly be felt in the spinoff to the spinoff series.

All hopes of Klaroline being together forever were lost when Klaus died in the series finale alongside his brother, Elijah. Ian Somerhalder Weighs In. She said:.

I think they could have ended up together. They could have had a moment together, or a series of long moments together. Basically, Stefan got an honorable ending in The Vampire Diaries. If Klaus had lived then Elijah may have too. The Original family could have reunited with Caroline at the center. Klaus' death was a fitting end for his character. The hybrid terrorized Elena and her friends in The Vampire Diaries and killed countless people. If he had lived, however, then maybe Caroline could have convinced him to seek redemption by helping people instead of hurting them.

If Klaus had lived and reunited with his former flame Caroline, then he could have occupied a larger role in Legacies. The spin-off show depicts the adventures of Klaus and Hayley's daughter, Hope. It would have been great to see the Original accompany his daughter on some of these adventures. Caroline and Klaus could have been recurring characters, appearing sporadically to help Hope, Josie, and Lizzie. It would be a highlight for Klaroline shippers, as well as a nod to fans of The Vampire Diaries.

Caroline could have also featured in another spin-off show from The Vampire Diaries if she had reunited with Klaus. She briefly starred in The Originals , but it would have been great if she had stuck around long enough to fully interact with the characters in the French Quarter. Many Klaroline fans were hoping to see the blonde vampire head to New Orleans eventually.

It would have been fun to see her converse more with the Original family as Klaus' partner. If Hope's father, Klaus, and the twins' surrogate mother, Caroline, had ended up together, then the supernatural students could have grown up together as children. Alaric may have protested against this, considering the hybrid murdered his girlfriend, Jenna, in Season 2 of TVD.
